We were called in to investigate Vickie's old apartment in San Pedro, CA. While she lived there she experienced a little girl. She would hear the girl call "mom" and think it was her own daughters only to realize several times that her girls were sleeping or were not even home. Also the little girl would touch her and babble to her at night. Vickie would tell her to not do this and that she was being naughty to wake her up at night. Vickie would tell her to go into the other room (dining room) and let her sleep. Vickie's dog would then run into the dining room and bark. Vickie would also ask her to make a noise in there to confirm it was her and one of the dining room chair legs would make a noise.
Also, a man was felt, seen and heard upstairs and downstairs by Vickie and friends. The man was usually felt in the upstairs bedroom, which was occupied by her kids when she lived there. Once, the male exhaled in the ear of a fellow investigator (Joe Mendoza, founder of 3AM Paranormal) that was visiting and was heard by everyone in the room.
One of Vickie's daughters saw a "blur" go up the stairs twice.
The current residents reported seeing the shadow of a man in the kitchen, hearing the little girl say "mom" and having the feelings of not being alone. They also describe seeing a "blur" in the same room Vickie's daughter saw it. Both Vickie's daughter and the current residents both describe it as "a blur"
The current family and Vickie's family feel comfortable in the home and do not feel like they're in danger. Very little activity is experienced by the children. It seems as though the spirits do their best not to scare anyone, although this is just an opinion.
The activity we caught was incredible. We caught the little girl, who we believe says her name, the man upstairs and others we were unaware of. Also, an electrical sounding male voice was captured several times. So many questions were answered and it was a wonderful experience for HAP to return to the home to investigate.
You may be wondering why Vickie had not investigated her home before. It is the opinion of several paranormal investigators that it is NOT a good idea to investigate your own home. The spirits need boundaries and living there and investigating there open yourself up too much. There needs to be boundaries...here's an example... Lawyers meet with their clients in an office. They do not meet them at their own homes. So, if you are having activity in your own home, please contact HAP or any other group in your area that you feel comfortable with.
